Dr. John Borders attended the University of Kentucky 1972-1975, and was accepted as an early entrant to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, graduating in 1979. After an internship and residency in internal medicine at Chandler Medical Center, he became Board Certified and was named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. From 1982-1988 he practiced with Doctors: Hench, Perrine, Fulmer and Borders, joining with his twin brother, James in 1988 to form Drs. Borders and Associates where he serves as President. He has named to the Administrative Board of Central Baptist Hospital and has also served as Staff President. He was named by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America for 2011-2014.
