Dr. Marie Hettinger attended undergrad in northwest Illinois, graduate school in Indiana, and ended up in Kentucky….except for a 3-year stint in Djibouti, Africa while her husband served for the Kentucky National Guard (ask her about diving with sharks). She always knew she was meant to be a physical therapist because of her love of science and helping others. After working with a Home Health Physical Therapist in high school to treat her mother after a horrific car accident, she learned she could make a career out of helping others to live a better-quality life. Marie specializes in sports medicine and manual therapy with an emphasis on treating migraines/headaches.
